We are immensely proud of the menus we have on offer, as we include a variety of nutritious and tasty food – whilst also providing old favourites. Our dedicated kitchen staff can also cater for special diets with three preparation kitchens alongside a cafe in the foyer where residents can make their own drinks and sample home-baked goods. Friends and family can visit at any time they please, however, we do recommend avoiding the residents’ meal times so there is minimal disruption.

The dignity, happiness and well-being of our residents is paramount. There are no rigid routines, people have just the same choice and control over their lives that they had before coming to live with us.

Our residents spend their days just how they choose – they decide what time they get up and go to bed, what they wear, what food they eat and any social activities they want to take part in.

Good Food:

Freshly cooked, tasty food with plenty of choice is one of our specialities. As we get older, good food becomes increasingly important so our in-house chef makes sure our meals are tempting, healthy and nutritious, and that we cater for speciality or medically advised diets. And there is always someone on hand to offer assistance to those who need it.

We often incorporate family recipes or particular favourites into our menus. There’s nothing like a pan of corned beef hash or a plate of eggy bread served up to bring back good memories or tempt someone’s appetite.

A typical day’s menu might be:

Activities

Each of our care homes has a dedicated activities co-ordinator who works with a team made up of residents, families and staff to provide stimulating, enjoyable activities throughout the year.
