The Different Types of Care

At Bondcare, our qualified teams are equipped with the different skills and experience required to fully support the varying needs of our residents across the country. The different types of care we are able to provide include:

  • Dementia care – As there are different types of dementia, such as vascular dementia and Alzheimer’s, each individual resident is given a personalised care plan.
  • Alzheimer’s care – Alzheimer’s care provides support for residents living with symptoms such as memory loss and problems with speech.
  • Residential care – Independence is encouraged for day-to-day activities such as eating, washing and dressing where possible.
  • Physical disability care – This covers disabilities such as multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, epilepsy and arthritis.
  • Elderly care – The care available for elderly people is tailored depending on their individual needs. It includes dementia care, nursing care and physical disability care.
  • Respite care – This gives people a break from their caring responsibilities while we take on these duties. The length of time can range from a few hours to a few weeks.
  • Nursing care – Registered nurses provide 24/7 care to those with long-term medical conditions, disabilities and mobility issues, and have access to GPs and pharmacists when required.

By providing an extensive list of care services, we make sure the transition into assisted living is a smooth, comfortable experience for our residents and their families.
