Our expert care team is managed by Jomina Gilles, and we are here to make residents from all walks of life feel completely at home – our carers also speak a variety of languages between them, including Filipino, Polish and Swahili. We ensure that all grades and skills are represented in our workforce to make sure residents have all of their needs met on a daily basis. Our nurses and carers are qualified to deliver a range of care.

We have 50 bedrooms available, 3 of which are shared, perfect for couples or siblings. All rooms and social areas, including lounges, have telephone points, TVs, internet access and a nurse call point. Pets are also welcome, by arrangement, as is the ability to have residents’ own furniture in the room if preferred.

Residents at Ashurst Park Care Home can enjoy home-cooked meals from our on-site chefs, who cater to any dietary requirements. Our dining spaces are always a hub of conversation and a place for residents to relax, socialise and receive assistance should they require it. Of course, those who prefer can have their meals brought up to their room, with family members able to join them for a small fee.

Ashurst Park also has beautiful gardens where residents can sit back and enjoy nature, or perhaps some afternoon tea, a garden party and even a BBQ, when the weather is favourable. Some of our more green-fingered residents also like to help with the planting in the gardens and are able to do so using our easily-accessible flower beds and vegetable patches.

Residents also enjoy a varied programme of activities and events throughout the year run by an activities therapist, and residents are closely consulted on the plans to ensure a good time is had by everyone. We also have a visiting qualified chiropodist and complementary therapies, along with an on-site salon run by an experienced hairstylist.
